Rep. Val Hoyle welcomed in Florence with standing ovation

Democratic House representative Val Hoyle was welcomed to a town hall at the Florence Events Center with a standing ovation on Wednesday afternoon.  This is after the chair of the House GOP's NRCC, Richard Hudson,  has told Republican lawmakers to stop holding in-person town halls amid backlash from citizens angry at the cuts Elon Musk and Donald Trump have been making to federal workers and programs.

Representative Hoyle said she would not stop having town halls and has  a town hall later that same day in Springfield at 4:30 PM.  Hoyle had also said that she plans to be back to Eugene on April 19th for a town hall specifically about Social Security.
